PODI was brought to us by The Bakery Depot, the same people from Cedele.
I was invited to PODI at Raffles City to enjoy a meal there.
I ordered 3 main dishes, 2 sides and 1 cake.
Don’t be shocked to the number of dishes I ordered, of course I couldn’t finish all these by myself, so I brought along my sisters to have the food with me.
First dish served: Truffle Fries – S$12
Fries was freshly fried with truffle oil.
If you are a truffle fries lovers like me, you not going to miss this!
Crispy Spiced Chicken Wings – S$10
The wings wasn’t that fantastic, it was served warm.
Spices doesn’t give a strong taste, wings wasn’t crispy enough.
I love chicken wings so I’m quite particular about it.
Duck Berry Waffle – S$18
Duck leg confit above waffles with runny egg on top. Blueberry compote & honey mustard sauce served together.
It’s the star item from PODI, combination of savory and sweet taste. Break the egg yolk and eat together with duck confit and waffles. It’s indeed a special combination.
Honey Paprika Chicken – S$18
With warm bacon & potato salad in tomato reduction and side salad with honey paprika dressing.
Chicken was tender and well marinated. If you love chicken, this will be a safe choice.
Crabmeat Konbu Aglio Olio – S$18
The pasta suppose to goes with house prawn oil but we were told that their house prawn oil has ran out, so replaced with olive oil.
Chilli, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of konbu seaweed, rocket leaves & parmesan cheese.
First bite was quite tasty, the rich parmesan cheese makes me crave for more.
Nutella Layered Cake – $5.50
For Nutella lovers! Surrounded by the nutty cream cheese, with nutella in between the sponge cake.
Wide range of cakes and pastries for dine-in or takeaway!
PODI serving all day breakfast & grills.
